Petrov for me.

As an aside, I had the pleasure of presenting Ireland with the Lions clubs Player of the Month yesterday.

You give them the magnum of champagne, they sign it and give it back to you to keep.

Did you manage to finish it by full-time?

Oh no, it's being saved for a rainy day.  Even I'd struggle to drink a magnum of champagne on my own.

You're slipping Pauline. ;)

Agree Warnock doesn't hide. As someone once put it he'd throw himself in front of a train for the Villa. He cares, he just isn't very good at the moment.

How about putting it on E-Bay and auctioning it off in aid of Stan? Just a thought.

I wouldn't be for giving Stan player of the year just because he's ill, however I really think he's been our best player so far this year. If not him then Ireland.

1. Petrov
2. Herd

That's it really. No one else warrants a mention.

I'll have a look into that, Legion.  Mind you I've never sold anything on eBay.

Or add it to the stickied auction thread.

I think Pauline should keep it for an emergency when she needs to get really pissed on champagne.

That's a good point, Damon.  I had thought about saving it until there's something Villa related to celebrate.  What's the shelf life of champagne?

Petrov. Given probably second. Of the youngsters, Herd has been the standout performer.

This for me.

Was talking about this with my dad before the game yesterday, it was basically a quick shrug of the shoulders followed by "I suppose Herd has been ok".

Gabby's couple of good months that might keep us up indeed. It shows you how dreadfully shit we have been when a bloke who has done little in 5 or 6 months might be what has kept us up.
