Wigan face Chelsea, Man Yoo & Arsenal the next 3 games...it could be 1 from Bolton, Blackburn, QPR and maybe us after those 3 games..

The good thing is that at least there is a good battle for 4th place to keep the teams competive and all to play for.

I can't see QPR getting any more than two points from their remaining games

If your predictions pan out for 6 points after the Stoke and Sunderland games, we'll be safe and there will be no chance of him being sacked.

Good. Villa being safe is what we want after all isn't it?

I couldn't see them beating Liverpool and Arsenal, nor could I see Wigan winning at Anfield or Bolton winning three on the spin. The past fortnight has taught us that we can't afford to rely on anyone else.

i'm confident we will get the points we need from the remaining fixtures, i dont really know exactly where because football has a way of supprising you.

but the one game where i am more confident than any other is the Sunderland at home match,
i notice most people have gone for a loss, i dont think so, i know MON will get them up for it as he comes across as a spitefull individual, but i reckon he will be in for a fall on that day,
Sunderland are a poor side riding on a wave of MON hysterier and a lot of our own players will also be up for it especially those who didnt get a look in during his reign, i reckon we will give him a bit of payback that day.

also VP will be rocking with support for the team no matter what

Anything could happen in any of the games left to all the teams in this relegation battle.  It would take a brave man to put his house on us staying up.

Like others I think there will be some surprise results among the bottom 6, but I fear Villa could end up with only 3 more points, probably with 3 draws, as they don't seem capable of winning on current form.

If this is the case, I hope that at least three below us do worse.

The day they started using it to describe Steve Sidwell was the day it stopped being a word.

Er yes, but avfcpg, who I was replying to, said he'd get the sack at the end of the season after the remaining games.

I don't believe that would happen.

6 points with the Spurs game turning nasty on McLeish. That's only if he's lucky. Lose to Sunderland and he'll get battered.
He'll be gone in the summer.
