Jenas probably won't be back but if he is then we need the bodies, I would keep Lichaj in as well.

We have every chance of winning this game if we actually try to win it.

damon: Lets really hope so, strange thing is I have more confidence in lifting the 3pts out of this one (if we go for it) than any of the immediate others fixtures following.

C'mon you Villa boys.

Lichaj one assist and one goal. No way can he drop him for Hutton. Think Gardner has to do a bit more to prove his talent. Hope Weimann gets more of the ball, cause he can find the net ........

Can't see us getting anything out of this, our defence will let in at least two surely? Baker, Collins and warnock at the back with herd as the protector. I reckon it could be at least 3-4 again.

Would play gabby supported by Ireland. And then 2 from alby, bannan and cnz wide. Not sure we have any choice but gardner and herd.

I'm afraid that team just is not premier league standard. Perhaps it will be one day, but it isn't this season. I  reckon gerrard will run absolute rings around them.

I wish I didn't know so many Liverpool fans.

They're shit but we're worse

We'll lose 3-1 and no doubt Carroll and Downing will both score to round off a great day

I got a feeling warnock will score this weekend similar to how Eric did last week.

Personally wouldn't drop Wiemann he creates space from his movement. I don't like playing half fit players so probably wouldn't bring N'zogbia back till stoke. Liverpool play narrow and I expect to match them the same to prevent being overrun in the middle. I would encourage warnock to made runs like Lichaj.

Given
Lichaj Collins Cuellar Warnock
Gardner Herd Bannan
Ireland
Wiemann Gabby

I did consider starting Wiemann but I beleive that he would cause more damage coming off the bench with about 25/30 to go.

I'd start Weimann. They've been shakey at the back as of late (Enrique and Skrtel have looked a bit dodgy, and Carragher hates being ran at), and they'll have Doni in goal.

Give them something to think about from the off.

Given
Lichaj - Cuellar - Collins - Warnock
Gardner - Herd - Bannan
N'Zogbia - Wiemann - Gabby

Go for it. If the midfield is too weak then change it for Stoke (Lichaj left back, Hutton right back and Warnock in midfield).

I think Cuellar is out so it will probably be Baker again.

I'd go..

                      Given

Lichaj   Collins   Baker    Warnock

                      Herd

           Ireland          Bannan

Carruthers                              Albrighton

                         Gabby

If Cuellar's out, Lichaj or Herd centre back?

I'd be reluctant to put Baker in the middle again just yet.

If Cuellar is not fit, would Hutton make a better Centre half than a right back? Just a thought.
