Just heard that Jody Craddock of Wolves youngest son has been diagnosed with leukaemia. Thoughts are with him and his family.

Get well soon.  He is only 2 1/2 years old as well.  Positive is that the type of leukaemia is ALL and the chances of being cured are 80%.  Lets hope this little man is in that 80%

Just read on the Mail website http://www.birminghammail.net/news/top-stories/2012/05/03/wolves-player-jody-craddock-s-youngest-son-diagnosed-with-leukaemia-97319-30896386/ that in 2002 their 4 month old baby son died of suspected cot death. Suspect it's easy to believe some footballers lead charmed lives. They're obviously as susceptible as the rest of us to live's unfair throws of the dice.

I heard an interesting interview on R5 recently with [I think] the new Rotherham manager, who'd previously managed Crawley Town [it may have been neither team, but basically one was in deepest, darkest south, the other was in the north]. He said one of the attractions of the vacancy was being nearer his family. It's easy to forget that some footballers/managers etc don't have idllyic lifestyles.

That's terrible news, how on earth do parents cope with this kind of news.
