I could not believe that stat I heard yesterday . 166 corners with no goals , not a goal from a corner all season .

Will we go a season without scoring from a corner ?   If we are rubbish in the  opponents box no wonder we are rubbish at defending corners and set pieces ourselves .

Why are we so poor at corners ?

His set-pieces can be good, but his problem is that he's not consistent. Sure he'll sometimes hit a 10p coin from 40 yards away, but often he's subject to the Ashley Young syndrome of not being able to clear the first man at corners.

Well with the potential absence of Zog for the Chelsea game and Heskey proving yesterday what we everyone apart from McLeish already knew, I strongly believe/hope that Bannan starts out wide this Saturday.
