As it is obvious RL and those around him have no networks within European footballing circles, I would see us getting a NFL manager.
What a nightmare that would be.

Sorry if i gave the wrong impression Paulie. I do think the villa job is one of the biggest but sadly it is not being treated that way by the people who are running the club and there for i can't see us going for a manager like Rogers.

A manager like Rogers, who is only 1 place and 3 points above us.

Goodness yes, but didn't Southampton bring in Clive Woodward from the world of Rugby as some form of technical director? Also after this 'touching base' get together between our coaching team and the team at CB . . . oh dear!!

One of Rupert Lowe's daftest descisions

And Redknapp refused to work with him and resigned I think.

I think he will try and appoint  someone with American Football experience as a general manager as he seems to want to 'share practises and information' between the two sports. Also, after AM I think he will go for a popular ex Villa player who played as high as international level as manager. I wonder if RL and PF wil be there for the press conference to unveil O.J. Simpson and Steve Hodge?

I just don’t think RL will go for someone who is young and ambitious. It seems that he wants someone to keep us bobbing along and that’s why we ended up with AM and why we where intrested in Steve Mclaren.

Sadly I think we are stuck with AM for the long term.

Do you mean in 10 years time when we have just won our third Champions League title with McLeish?

Do I win the prize for the daftest post of the day?

Andre villas boas please.

AVB, way to young in management terms, and at Chelsea where players clearly rule the roost the very least you need is a total disciplinarian to get things back on track.

In fact a Ferguson, that would sort the men out from the boys..

Personally I would highly recommend McLiesh for the Chelsea job, that'll put paid to any aspirations they have of doing anything.

Well come on ffs, why is it Midland clubs that have to suffer eternal indignation all the time, why do the London clubs and the North West get all the glory boys and we get the also ran's.
