I don’t fancy us to get much from this. If Dempsey and the new forward (I am not even going to attempt to try and spell the name) play well then it’ll be a long afternoon. I don’t like doing it but I’m going for 1-2 Fulham.

I agree, this will be surprisingly comfortable and our biggest win of the season.

4-1 Villa.

They’re brittle on the road and despite how the bossed the Wolves yesterday they’re still only midtable fare with all the inconsistencies and deficiencies that brings to a sides play.

Plus look at this way.

If the Villa were on a decent run having won three on the spin and heading to a side that hasn’t won at home in four months, you could guarantee that we’d be turned over.

We'll win this one. 2-0 or 2-1; Gabby and Zog for us and Dempsey for them on about 85 mins, just to make us sweat for the last 5 or 6 minutes because this is Villa after all.

We are making teams look like battlers and fighters the way we are playing at the moment, sitting back for large chunks of the game as we do. The fact that we drew with Wigan, who then subsequently lost 2-0 at home to 10 man Swansea says it all.

If we give Fulham that much time and space as we do most teams, we will no doubt have problems.

I hope we win, but we will have to be at full throttle for 90+ mins, and I still can't see us keeping a clean sheet even then.

Another draw. McLeish staring down the barrel now. A defeat and he's a goner.

I'm praying for a win as I am hopefully bringing my 81 year old dad to this one! Oh and plus my Villa mad 9 year old! Please, please, please play some attractive footie Villa.

Oh, dear. My sons are going for the first time in a while.

I fully expect poor, boring football torture with, at best, a draw.

And I am always optimistic!

Not sure what to think. They have been playing well of late but are crap on the road and struggle for goals.

We are crap at home and struggle for goals but have a feeling we will smuggle a win somehow in a terrible game.

The atmosphere will be vile if we go behind mind.

1-1 draw, 2 scrappy goals.

Bet DW has his Press article written already.

Last season when we were dire,GH could pull a result out of the hat when it was vital,West Brom and Newcastle at home spring to mind. We need one of those on Sat,but things are so shitty that I can't see it happening.

1-1

A draw would be good but it won't happen. Fulham will win this comfortably.
