It could very well be Ron Vlaar at VP. That would be ace all kidding aside. Just took a ganders at VT and there's a post from someone called theboyangel that makes it look quite convincing.

A lot of "ITKs" saying Ramis in this week also.

It's a bit funny though, all of these signings have caught us completely off guard. The predictability of the transfer market for us right now is, well unpredictable. I don't think I've seen an ITK get something right 3 days (or more) prior to the actual transfer. I've been hearing Brahimi, Ramis, Doumbia all week, but no one had anything or any rumors on Matty L or Karim prior to them putting pen to paper.

Let's be patient.. or try to be.

The picture of him taking a photo with his phone is quite clearly Vlaar when compared to the pics on Google image.

he looks nothing like the geezer in the white shirt to me? Or the one with the blue shirt. Or should I be going to Specsavers? And Lambert looks like he's heading in a different direction.

Ron Vlaar confirmed to be at Villa Park today.

Feyernoord center back and captain, started for the Netherlands in the Euros against Denmark and Portugal. Villa could be the team to snap him up on a Bosman, el Ahmadi helping with talks.

Now that would be exciting! It's a rumour mill cliche, but we appear to actually be raiding Holland, and I for one approve.

I second that motion.

Somebody has had a lot of time on their hands today, clearly.

Ooh ahh Ron Vlaar, say ooh ahh Ron Vlaar.

I remember his name at the Euro's. Almost sounded like Villa.

Now if we signed his cousin David from Barca...

Thats Vlaar alright, when and if confirmed then thats a top signing. Feyenoord must really dislike us.

I'm pleased that Lambert is making a series of sensible signings, rather than breaking the bank on one big marquee one.
