I'd like to see Charlie Adam brought in, he was fantastic for Blackpool in 2010/11 and is a significant improvement on anything we currently have in midfield

Would also like to see a left back and another striker brought in as last season demonstrated that if Bent gets injured for a prolonged period then we simply have no one capable of getting enough goals for us to move up the table

Hate to say yesterday was worse than last year in my view - 

I can't agree with that at all, last season we were a shambolic disaster and gave up as soon as we went a goal down. While we were totally outplayed yesterday we atleast gave it a go and showed some spirit in the 2nd half which is the bare minimum I'd expect from a Villa/Lambert team.

2 shots 1 on target at home. Pretty concerning even if it is early in season.

Not that it makes the performance any better but i can remember 5 shots off the top of my head, either way its something we need to address as a derrogatory amount of shots have been a to regular feature of our stats over the past couple of years.

Kiesling is big lad, experienced at 28, and scores 1 in 3. He can play on his own or as a target man alongside another forward. I think a big striker will be high on the priority list along with a LB and midfielder this week.

Oh I would be amazed is a 6"2 plus striker has not arrived by next week. 1 in 3 sounds good, especially if a target man. Never recall seeing him play though, probably have but not taken any notice. Mbia I saw once but I am sure he played centre half??

He's got about 300 plus games in the Bundesliga to his credit. I do like German football so that's why I hope we pick up some players from there in the next while, and our head scout being from there can only help.
