I have a feeling Warnock will not be going anywhere. There is a decent player there and maybe PL can get that player back? Hutton is deadwood judging by PL's comments on why he hasn't taken him to the States.

My mate saw Warnock out in in Liverpool the other week, and asked him straight why he was so shit.

He said he took it well, and replied "All you Villa fans hate me", to which my mate replied "Yeah, only because you're shit"

I don't think he'll stay.

If i was asked that question I dont think I would respond that well.  mind you mates ask me that at 5 aside everyweek so I take my ball home 

If couldn't install a telephone system properly, but still drew massive wages from it, I'd expect the same questions to be asked.

Warnock takes an inordinate amount of shit in my opinion. We have other players that have been worse than him that don't get the same vitriol. Our beloved Gabby for example. He's been a waste of space for two two season, but for some reason escapes abuse.

IMO we've spent too long signing the better players from the clubs slightly below us and the reserves from the clubs slightly above us.

Dunne, Collins, Warnock and N'Zogbia fall into the former category
Given, Hutton and Ireland fall into the latter category.

On reflection it's no surprise what's happened to us with transfer activity like that.

Of course it's with the benefit hindsight, I was ecstatic when we signed Warnock, N'Zogbia and Ireland for example - but that's why it's so refreshing to see our business this Summer.

Warnock was player of the year for Blackburn in his last season there in a midfield role, MON played him as a full back and his limitations there were shown up.He might be worth keeping for a midfield back up where he is not a last line of defence?

As it stands I have doubts Makoun is staying, so the only senior DCM we have is El Ahmadi, who obviously lacks any PL experience.  I can see Ireland playing further forward and after that it's Gardner or Herd, plus Clark. 

With that in mind, Warnock seeing out the last year as cover for DCM/LB is not the worst idea we've seen suggested on this thread!
