Poor bloke.

The way he's been discussed on here you'd half expect him to appear on 'Ripley's believe it or not'.

Heard a rumour he had defected to Blues for a spell? Nice to have him back in the fold! Wonder what happened to 'John' a rival to Wolfies crown as Villa's strangest fan. He was Asian I think and could usually be found around Dale End or on the 97 Bus singing Villa songs on his own at totally random times in the early 90's, usually wearing a White away top, a villa hat and a scarf round his wrist! Ain't seen him for years. He was good, but very much Jonathan Wilkes to Wolfies Robbie Williams!

Is that the same guy who sat in the Trinity Road Lower around the early 90s towards the Holte, you could see him on the live TV games? If it is I saw him the other day with a Villa hat on and some shopping in a plastic carrier bag.

Could be! He would be about 40 now. Many a time he'd be belting out Josef Venglos Claret Blue Army on his own at a Bus Stop on a Tuesday Afternoon In July, wonder if he's still at it!

This made me laugh more than any post in ages. Cheers Bernie!

I saw him last year when the EDL were standing around in Centenary Square.

Shame Withey, without the face it's a bit like one of those panther sightings no one can be totally convinced - the snout and FA Cup ears are defintitely Wolf like but with a slight blur it could just be the ghost of Alan Ball. Did he have a shopping bag full of crap toys?

I thought it was mouldy heads of cabbage and pigs heads he carried on his person.

Im sure I remember being in the away end at QPR once (Seaman was playing for them, which would help date it), and  Wolfie was spotted in the front row of the stand on the left, with the home fans, towards the halfway line.

We were chanting at him to put the police helmet on, and he did. These are the sort of things which make football so ace.

I've seen him and his lady-friend/carer at the pre-season friendlies and the NextGen matches this season.
