It was a rare experience having direct contact with the club; and the General seemed to have the right character to deal with it. Was it 3-4 years he was posting for? I agree with Pelty that it seemed to have run its course, imagine if he was still posting now with all the grief he would get.

Pelty, tell your Dad that we are Brummies and it is in our genes to moan and complain... just like its in the scousers genes to steal, but many of us are grateful for his contribution.

Hey calm down lad - I had my car knicked three times when I lived in Brum, so don`t tell me Brummies aren`t thievin gits as well - By the way, Scousers moan as much as Brummies but its at a higher pitch.
