I have a feeling he will start Keane in this one, don't ask me why.
No clue what the formation will be but I'm going for a win 1-2 Bent and Gabby,

Come on you Villa boys!!!!

Agree re Keane but that would be another mistEck as he would need to be subbed after 60. Logically, Gabby or Ireland or Albrighton would have to make way for him in the starting line-up, which would be daft.

I would play Gabby right, and NZog left for this one, and try and just burn their full backs out.

I think we will go for playing for the draw and thats what we will get. 2-2 as both defences look mistakes waiting to happen.

If we do win it will be a narrow one. As discussed on numerous threads the side isn't set up properly. We are trying to shoehorn a 442 formation into players unsuited to it. In any case, the last thing we should do is move Clark out of midfield. However I expect that change to occur. With Fletcher up front I think Cuellar is definitely more effective against an elusive type of striker. Collins is fine against the physical ones. No chance of that change happening.

Nzogbia should be brought back in on the right but I wouldn't be averse to a vote of confidence being given to Albrighton. Ward is a very poor defender but decent going forward. Whoever is given the vote there has a big opportunity. Almost certainly Gabby will be on the left and Bent up top. Gabby for me looks sick of playing there but McLeish will continue to try and get both of them to play
together.

Ireland will be supporting Bent. Will be interesting to see who partners Petrov in the centre if as I expect Clark is not in midfield. Looks like he is trying to get rid of Delph so Gary Gardner could well be in
line for a start. I'd definitely keep Clark as we need someone to outfight the cloggers they have in there aswell as outplay them.

If McLeish picks the team right I fancy us to nick it 2-1.

A hard fought out battle with little in the way of excitement. 5-0 to the Villa.

3-0 Villa win, Heskey with all 3 to answer his critics in the best possible way.

Have a feeling we'll nick it. 2-1 Villa.

Would bring N'Zogbia back for Albrighton.

I've got a feeling we'll hold the league for about an hour, then they'll get a late equaliser. 1-1

I know get the feeling Keane may start over Gabby, which may be ok, although I'd rather wait till the 2nd half to put Keane in the mix with Bent, Ireland and N'Zog.

Its Alexs 53rd birthday tomorrow. Im going the game. Anybody up for singing 'Happy birthday Big Eck' with me? He seems a decent geezer maybe he deserves abit of respect? I think its time to get behind him and the players. Our problems will still be there when Alex has long gone.

I won't be singing happy birthday, but I certainly hope he has a good one.
