Ireland is fantastic. What a player. I'm glad we've got him in the side and given him a chance.

This is the best we've played all season. Better than Chelsea.

No it isnt. Chelsea was 90mins sustained effort.

Warnock cannot defend to save his life and just put in two terrible crosses from the byline, what is wrong with him?

They were good crosses according to Trevor.

He hit both of them over everyone in the box, with the second only being saved by albrighton, so don't know what Trevor's on about.

Come on Villa, let's have a goal from a corner, for once.

Ireland is the key, but has to be central

No it isnt.

Against Chelsea we defended and counter-attacked, brilliantly, but we didn't control the game and make space for ourselves like this. This is really good.

I think some of our players need confidence to perform. Ireland especially.

Our fullbacks really are poor footballers, neither provides anything going forward, I'm absolutely certain that a decent pair of fullbacks would make all the difference for us going forward.

At last he's looking like the player we hoped we were getting.

Ireland has always been a confidence player, you're right there.

Kyle Walker is a big loss in that regard
