It's definitely winnable, whoever we play. I still wish it was Stevenage at home though.

You mean you didn't know it wasn't? Nostradamus....

Looking at the ties, I don't think ITV would want to exclude Arsenal and the chance for Clive Titsley to shout "Henriiiiiiiiiiii!".

Therefore, I reckon a Monday night slot for this one.

Do Arse do reasonable ticket prices for cup games?

Just looked at their website. They are charging cat b prices for the cup which is about £35

That's against a championship side though. I would suggest looking at what the league game is set at.

I would suggest you read this from the Arsenal OS

Quote
Match ticket pricing at Emirates Stadium is based on the principle of an A and B grading, as follows: Category A fixtures: Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Man City, Tottenham.

All remaining Premier League games will be category B as will the majority of FA Cup, UEFA Competitions and Carling Cup matches. However, there will be some specific matches which will be designated as Category A. Details will be communicated at the appropriate time.

Sorry Pete, i thought you meant you had checked the Leeds match ticket prices.

I see Citeh have jumped ahead of us as a Cat A at their place. Tut, how far as we fallen, Randy out etc, etc

So ITV will not want to show it and they will have it on ESPN instead then. (Does Clive moonlight for them? Another reason not to get ot)

No, because he couldn't do gerbil impressions.

No, they'll have that other tosser who did the Bristol Rovers game. I don't know which one I dislike the most. The Chris Waddle factor might just tip the scales in favour of Mr Tyldesley.

I was pointing out that ITV don't do Monday slots. They won't decide until after tomorrows match now anyway, although if Leeds do knock Arse out they might show them to try to get another scalp.

I think I would prefer Arsenal to Leeds away. Maybe I still think of Leeds in their very hard and Glory Days, but probably because we can play against Arse, on the break. And be up for it given our recent performance.

If we're going to beat the Arse, we'll have to do with 10 men after Dunne gets given his marching orders for chopping Thierry 'LeBron James' Henry in half...

As soon as I saw the Arsenal/Leeds tie come out the pot the old spidey senses started to tingle.  Very winnable for the Villans, I have no doubt about that.

Assuming that Arsenal progress to the 4th round, then we will be entitled to an allocation of 9,000 tickets at the Emirates.

How many do people think we're likely to take?

We will probably only take the initial allocation of 5,100 tickets.

I wonder what the odds are if we are up against Arsenal. AMc has beaten them with limited ( crap) players and I would put a few bob on. If we turn up. Of course the FA Cup is probably their only silverware chance too. Might put a full team out.
