Please ensure Warnock never starts a game for us again.

That's all very well but who is our alternative left back? Clark is settling well into his midfield role and throwing Stevens into the first team so quickly will be a massive gamble.

Isn't Lichaj a right-back?

Technically yes, but he can play on the left. Like I said, I was surprised to see him play LB for the US and even more surprised to see how well he played there.

Yes but not in the same way as Reo-Coker or Gardner

Entire back four isn't good enough. Guzan deserves to keep the shirt. Great to see so many academy players involved and making such big impacts.

All three goal scorers are made by Villa. Two of them Villa fans. Great stuff.

I'd rather see Delph given a go as its probably too early for Stevens.

Lichaj is back in training and he played for the US in the Gold Cup last summer. Played very well too. I'd like to see him given a chance.

Good shout, he'll be well capable.

This for me too, if he can play on the left.

Well we won, which is all that matters in a game like that.  Ireland and Albrighton did well, Warnock's slide continues at an astonishing rate.  He really is a train wreck at the moment.

To early for Stevens. But Warnock has got to be replaced. He is a major catastrophe. He killed our confidence against Swansea and give away a penalty today. Even Hutton is less risky !!!

Surely Heskey could fill in?

That was pretty much Houllier's plan.

I am just appalled that Collins despite the hoofing, is a cert to start every week, and Warnock needs replacing so badly that I would say Wayne Bridge is a better player!

There MUST be a decent championship left back.

I'd agree largely, with the exception that we could keep Dunne and get something out of him, but Warnock, Collins and Hutton are very frightening indeed at times.

Warnock plays like he's got an increasing substance abuse problem or something. He just seems to get worse and worse.

The question is though; How many of the replacements are already here?
