Why not weimann or fonz if you want to rest gabby.  We need to win this as a good cup run is essential this season but at some point these kids need to play.  He doesn't trust them in the league and won't start them in the cup so how are they ever going to make an impression on the team?

I imagine if we can get 2 up, the likes of bannan, Gardner and weimann may get 30 minutes or more. Gabby and CNZ if we are in a troubled situation!!

I don't think throwing in Weinmann is a good idea. It's a going to be a real battle I think and Heskey has the experience of having the shit kicked out of him by clogging centre halves. As for Fonz, how many more years are we going to label him a kid? Not good enough for me.

Happy enough with the line up. I'd have given Weimann a start though, but I suppose Heskey needs games and he's ahead of him in the pecking order.

Be nice to see Weimann and Gardner for Petrov and Bent after an hour if we're in control.

Bent deal done is it? Piss off Mirror.

Let's hope it doesn't mean Gabby is on his way. ;-)

Because he has had a good run of games hasn't he...

A player cannot be judged until he has had a proper chance 21 or 31.

Heskey though - FFS.  I just hate seeing him in a Villa shirt.  I hate watching him as a player, and as a team when he's playing we always revert to being shite, lumping balls up to the big useless lummox.  His final day in a Villa shirt can't come soon enough.

Spot on. If we're trying to stoop to their level then yes, Heskey is the way forward.
