I've just seen the post match interview with the Chelsea boss.

I may allow a little smile to play across my lips when the inevitable happens.

I think Bolton was the turning point, there was a confidence about them that day that we had rarely seen this season. There was a blip against Livepool but since then we're looking like a side transformed.

I feel a little vindicated for all the stick I was taking when arguing that 13 games was too little to judge the manager. Now we've got to keep it up and look forward to a more enjoyable 2012

First to accept I told you so, if, and it's a big if they keep it up.  But you must admit, something or someone has got in the manager's ear about the style of play, because all of a sudden they look a threat going forward.

At 1-1 with about 10 minutes to go I started typing on the match thread that " they were murdering us and If we planned on defending that deep for the last 10 I wasn't sure if my heart would see it out until full time".

Brilliant.

At half time I was thinking how disappointed I'd be if we didn't get  anything from the game.

Great performance. Watched the whole game this morning and stupid penalty apart, everyone played brilliantly.
Please, please, please hope that we finally have the real Stephen Ireland back, he was magnificent today and exactly the type of player we've been missing.

What a great start to the New Year.

Watched the whole game on Sky tonight and loved Dave Bassett's quote: 'You could have driven a bus through the gap and Petrov was that bus!'

Didn't realise how close Bent was to having his shot saved. I'm sure Ireland could have scored if he had taken it one on one.
