It would be interesting to know who the other 9 companies were.

On balance, I think they'll be better than Nike. I think most of us had high hopes for the Nike deal, but they didn't really bother with us overmuch did they? Anyway, the sponsorship and kit deals have certainly come on leaps and bounds over the last few years, so well done to all involved.

Nice to have Nike for a few years. I reckon a couple of their kits for us will be classics in 20 years. Bit disappointed we didn't get Umbro or Puma. But it's no big deal.

Any idea if Villa merchandise will be discounted soon? I've wanted some claret away shorts for the gym for ages, just can't bring myself to pay £20+

Home Kit in June
Away kit in July
2 Goalkeeper kits available to buy in all sizes
Nearly double what Nike where paying per season
Full set of Leisure and Training ware
Flagship team in the UK

I fail to see any negatives

While we're on the subject, anyone planning on buying any Nike stuff soon? I reckon I might get that blue track jacket with claret trim, maybe the 2008/09 home and away and 2009/10 shirt. Bet they'll be classics in 10 years.

Slightly worried that the link above still has bloody checks surrounding the Villa writing. Please McGrath, no more checks!

Think we'll see a difference with a company desperate for our business rather than one that has bigger fish to fry.

Good deal all round I reckon. Personally I don't think there will be a significant drop in sales because of Macron (unless the kits are absolutely shocking) and this will be more than covered by the extra sales made before summer holidays.

Would be interesting to know how much Villa really make from a shirt sale from sports direct, Probably not too much at all individually.
