Yes. He has somewhat of an obsession with them. Even his grand piano has been adorned with claret and blue checks.

The check thing was all part of a plan to distinguish us from the rip-off kits merchants like Burnley and West Ham. They are everywhere now. Website, tickets, shirts, within Villa Park...
