I think we will get what a few fans have been after . Clark to start , so 7 defenders in the team ;)

Park the bus, hope for a 0-0 or snatch an all important away goal to take back to Villa Park.

It's an opportunity to banish the memories of our last venture into europe

Swansea play passing football.  Most of Villa's squad seems to be midfielders who cannot retain nor pass the ball. Chaotic high scoring draw. Given, Hutton, Collins, Dunne, Warnock, NZogbia, Herd, Petrov, Jenas, Agbonlahor, Bent.

Jenas and Nzogbia will definitely come in. Should be an entertaining game. Watched Swansea against Wolves and they destroyed the Wolves full backs. Hutton and Warnock will be well up against it.

A braver manager would also consider giving Petrov a rest. What is the point having the likes of Bannan, Ireland, Delph, Albrighton, Gardner at the club if we cant play them against the likes of Swansea?

Unfortunately its clear McLeish doesnt trust creative players. We will try and outmuscle Swansea and rely on Gabby bursting pass 2 or 3 defenders to make a goal.

I don't know where I've got this burst of optimism from but I reckon AM will make some positive team changes, we will actually manage to go ninety minutes without giving away a goal and Gabby or Bent will stick one in for us. I'm going one nil to Villa.

I'm expecting that elusive away win to come at Bolton tbh.

If we don't win there, then I can't see us winning away until 2012 as after that it's away to Stoke and Chelsea, can only see a draw at Stoke in that.

Please God let's pray that he doesn't pick Hutton and Heskey in midfield.

I have gone for a home win - I am really struggling to be positive at the moment and think we are there for the taking by anybody we play

It pains me to say this but I hope Swansea show Mcleish how to play against a supposedly better team,

So you hope Villa lose?

As i said in another thread

Option A
He think the team from Monday owe the fans a response so they can put it right

Option B

He has the bottle to drop a good few wasters from the team (Heskey / Collins / Hutton) and actually go for it

I would like B but fear it will be same old same old option A

2-0 loss
