I've been moving house the last few days so great to see we have Lambert on board. Has he brought anyone in with him?

Alan Thompson has left Celtic............maybe he might join the coaching staff @ Villa

Something strange has gone on there, he has released a statement through his lawyer saying how he was sacked with immediate effect following a telephone conversation with Lennon.

Reading about Thompson on some Celtic forums, lots of people mentioning his love of the smell of the barmaid's apron.

Not sure Thompsons departure from Celtic has any relevance. Everything I've heard suggests PL is poaching his trusted team from Delias lot.

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere. Today's Birmingham Mail reports that we don't have to pay Norwich any compensation. We and Lambert acted properly: LINK

And Norwich haven't acted that cleverly. It's clear we wanted him and would have paid compensation, but their not allowing him to speak to us has just made everything even better for us and worse for them. Fools.

If it's now a sacking offence in Scotland to be a pisshead, then the game is in trouble.

Based upon my recollection of his short career with us he looked half-cut in every game he played

Presumably we still have to agree compensation for Culverhouse, Karsa and anyone else we're taking.

If he's coming with Lambert what role does Karsa play? Is 'head of football operations' essentially the same as a DoF on the board, so effectively leaving Faulkner to look after commercial aspects while Karsa would deal with all footballing aspects/contracts etc?

This is an interesting site with contract details of Norwich staff.

It would appear that Culverhouse's contract runs out on 30.06.12. Karsa's contract details has not been updated?

Karsa is a big secret at Norwich, but it is believed he does a lot of the players contractual stuff and is part of Lamberts decision making process on players to buy.
