One thing that Villa should take advantage of is paying for more celebrities invitations to Aston Villa matches.
Getting A lister movie stars who are in UK promoting their movies
And more reality starts, social media and You tube personalities involved on match days.
Musicians too should be attending.

They don't have to be Villa supporters or even football supporters.
If anyone followed the misfits boxing last night it drums up a big interest and the celebrity crowd it's something that makes sense from marketing. Also when you see the invitation list who go to Inter Miami and PSG matches it's something Villa should build on asa brand.

It's all about the opportunity on building the Aston Villa brand. And making people outside of football aware.

If Bobby Sands MP was alive I bet he’d love to go to a game with Cameron, William and the Governor of the BoE.

And he wouldn't have been moaning about the catering.

Did you know he was a Villa fan BV?

I'd imagine everyone knows he was. What they may not know is that for a while his name was on all Villa shirts.

Yes. As PWS mentions, it's been discussed on here a few times including his name being on the Kappa shirts.

How come?

Kappa's French offices were on Rue Bobby Sands in Paris so it was on the label of the shirts.

Ah, thought Paris was mentioned when I saw on Twitter at the time.

Me and Pat were talking about Bobby Sands on Friday night ( as you do) and I’m sure Pat said he used to live on Rue Bobby Sands, and I’m sure it was in Paris. I could be wrong on both counts, I had necked about 7 pints of Taddy Lager.

There will be >1 Rue Bobby Sands, I imagine.

There is one in Paris, one just outside Nantes and possibly a few more.
