Listensing to TV and Radio today  most of the  "experts" have been describing Bannan as some sort of saviour for Scotland. That is worrying in terms of pressure on him and I don't like that  Fletcher around him in the Scottish camp.  No doubt  he will be singing the praises of manu in his ear.

He picked up an Achilles injury last night and is doubtful for their midweek game. Hope he isn't played and gets fully fit for Saturday

BBC says that he has a gashed heel and it's in an awkward spot and had to be glued!!

Doesn't sound as though he'll be able to play for a couple of weeks.

Levein quoted as saying he is a 'doubt' for Tuesday, but it is not serious, just that it is awkwardly placed...I assume that it must be in the fold of the heel where the top of the boot rubs it.  He'll be fine for the Man Shitty match.
