Bolton are in terrible form at the moment. No excuse not to win this match at home.

I'm working.... and you know what almost glad I am I don't think I could stomach another 1.5 hours of utter tedium. I reckon attendance 18k max.

Don't forget the extra-time and penalties...

I'll have clocked off by then.... maybe I could just make it for the ET and pens, or maybe i'll just go straight to bed!

It's going to absolutely shit.  Us to win 1-0 after extra time.

It depends on the selection but I will predict a dull game and a sparse crowd. Us to sneak through which I will find out on teletext about 3am tomorrow morning whilst waiting for my cab to the airport to arrive.

When I had my first child over 9 years ago I nearly missed a home game because well 3 month olds can be a handful and my missus hadn't slept for a few weeks (I hadn't either but blokes don't count in these situations). Anyway Dad came round to pick me up as usual and explained to me that to miss agame would be the "start of the slippery slope to watching the highlights on MOTD and in later years I'd be grateful to get out the house"

So 9 years later on and after 3 weeks of paternity leave looking after the 8 month old number 4 you do not know how much I'm looking forward to this game !

Yet another reminder of my late Dad's wisdom.

I'm taking my 6 year old to her first competitive game, she has been to reserve games before but never a real match.

It's cost me £25 for me, my girlfriend and daughter in the Holte Lower, that is unbeleivable value.
We should be sold out at those prices, but sadly we won't.

I would like Gardner, Marc, Ireland and Delfouneso play tonight.

Saturday it started to dawn on me the game is begining to become a chore and i was actually looking at the clock for the game to end as i had a saturday night planned

Cant believe it has come to this

I reckon a piss poor crowd (circa 16K - not helped by Boltons awful fan base) drugery followed by tedium then the single goal (not even sure who to)

Fuck me i am depressed before i even get there!

0-1 - A miss-hit shot in the opening 90 seconds by Kevin Davies bounces off Collins's ballsack and finds its way into the corner via Dunne's shaft. Even the normally outstanding Given is foxed by the double deflection. The following 89 mins is possibly the dullest in the entire history of Aston Villa, most of the several thousand in attendance having to be woken after the final whistle.

I expect a hard fought game between 2 reserve sides with villa nicking it 1-0 in extra time.

Not good news about the injuries

you would have thought the club would have learned after last season when we got injuries and this season we have a weaker squad ...    Did they expect every player to keep fit all season ..

I have a bad feeling about this - 2-1 to Bolton.
