A couple of former Villa legends signed as free agents recently

Scott Hogan with MK Dons

Josh Onomah with Bruce’s Blackpool

The Dream Team back together again. Blackpool fans don't know they're born!

I really do have to pinch myself sometimes when I think it's only been a handful of years since we were excited by the signings of players like these, all while battling it out for a play-off spot in the Championship.  It really is incredible when you take a step back and look at the transformation that's occurred since 2018.

I didn't even know Ayew was there until his name popped up on my goal alert.

Nyland having a busy night for Sevilla at Barcelona. He’s made some good saves

90 minutes, a goal and man of the match for Keinan Davis in Udinese's 2-0 win against Cagliari to put them up to fourth in Serie A.

Good for him.

Brad Guzan frantically trying to keep out shots from Messi is a surreal watch tonight.

Yep. 2 mins highlights https://youtu.be/iwZ-hb4fhj8?si=e_TizIfE-B7_8q87

Be lovely if he managed to keep it going.

It is. Imagine if we had him and Duran on the same team: two very skilful bruisers; would be like a battering ram! I'm not suggesting that this would be a preference compared with what we already have, but it does whet the appetite a little.
It's great to see him doing well (admittedly last night's result was after an opponent's sending-off).

Yes, I was there at his home debut Vs Norwich, the 4-2, and I thought we had a star centre forward in the making on our hands (even if he didn't score himself that day).
