The previous English winner of Serie A was the first and only one until Young.

Jimmy Greaves won it at Milan too I think, before MC's correct Hitchens shout.

Milan won the title, but Greaves had already left by then

Henri will retire, beach bar at Ko Samui must be reopening soon.  I'm assuming Baker's injury problems never went away?

And he retires having played in a World Cup and having won the League Cup.... twice.

Is Julian Joachim still going to be playing, come the new season? A legend when it comes to longevity.

Cane up with this     Premier league Players ex villa 11 :)

                         Gollini
       Lowton Walker Clark Bertrand
                  Westwood Milner
        Albrighton                    Grealish
                     Ayew Benteke

Carson and Cleverly just miss out ! Drinkwater and Barkley don't make squad.
Bardsley rightly exchanged for Bertrand. Thanks Monty

I'd rather praise Footy's enterprise than criticise him even if Bardsley is a bully in the similar vein to Ben Thatcher and Ben Mee. Maybe he would be better-named 'Ben Bardsley'.

What a disgraceful waste of talent Lansbury was.  Someone who knew him once told me (not long after we bought him) that he just didn't give a shit.  He was just enjoying parties and the high life and had no real interest in improving.  Jack was similar at the time, except he did give a shit and worked hard as well as playing hard and had the talent to carry it off.
