For me it would be a combination of:

I despise Rupert Murdoch
I dislike the stanglehold Sky have over sport/television due to their financial clout
Far too expensive
I watch very little television so it would be a waste of money

Half the races, but which ones?  I bet they wont have the British GP, imagine a scenario where they get all the non European races ie the ones that start at 3am or 10pm on a Sunday.
I bet the rights pricing is way cheaper for the Brazilian, Canadian, Singapore, Malaysia & Australian GP than all the European races.

I have Sky but not the sport or movies and pay £22.50 and get free evening and weekend calls and my internet.

Plus a 200 gig Sky plus box,and I had 50 quid of free M@S vouchers. So for me very good value

You and me both, never had any Sky Sports channels where I live and never will.  Not that it has any impact on them or that they care what I do, it just means I sleep easier at night.

I dont understand Formula 1

Think it's just cars driving round and round a circuit for several hours.

Am I the only who when they first read this bit "BBC Sport will broadcast half the races live, as well as the qualifying and practice sessions from those races." took it to mean half a race and wonder if it was the first half or second half?

And

there

goes

Manson

or was it Mansell?

It would be a bit more exciting if murderers was placed strategically in the pit lane and the time taken for the pit stop was the time the murderer got with the driver
