Just so everyone knows, once you like the page and leave your comments, you can then unlike it and everything you've posted stays. Don't boost their numbers by keeping it liked.

And I'm not surprised by this, there's been people on here basically hoping McLeish will fail, so why would facebook be any different?

Thanks

Dear lord, forgive them for they know not what they do!

Maybe I'm being thick, but I don't get the earlier post with the picture of Captain Sisko from star trek. What's that about?

Anyway, in reference to the statement, I don't get that either. Have they forgotten the Ellis years? We weren't exactly world beaters then were we? The way I see it, apart from last season, which most rational people realise got off to a very unfortunate start, every year has seen progress. Unfortunately, Randy Lerner has not got the financial clout to compete with the two Manchester clubs, Chelsea or Tottenham, but lets not make out that we're a club on the verge of bankruptcy either.

If I had a crystal ball, I'd happily let everyone know what next season has in store, but I haven't so for now all we can do is get behind the manager, the team, the chairman, and who knows if we all give it 110% support instead of continually moaning we all may be suprised at what the season has in store.

As for whoever created that statement, may I suggest you take your negativity elsewhere.

Surely this is a nose on a wind up?  I've left my thoughts on their wall anyway, it was a good excuse to steal an insult from Pets With Tourettes.  I was going to pick apart the statement but it's so full of inaccuracies I don't think I'd have time.

I don't mind people saying what they feel, but claiming to represent the majority is pure arseholery.

It's stuff like this which made it hard to go to VP at times last year, people seemingly hell-bent on having a ruinously bad time, and bringing everyone down with them.

And no I'm not talking about our defence.

At least we're not the only set of supporters with a small minority of arseholes carrying out carrying out petty and counter-productive protests in the name of "freedom of speech".

linky

Don't agree with banning the fans though, that's a bit ott.

Whoever wrote that rubbish needs an English lesson:-

Lerners = Lerner's
compell = compel
The decision can not be defended from neither a financial nor a sporting point of view. = The decision cannot be defended from either a financial or a sporting point of view.

etc, etc

Arghhhhh! I genuinly embarrassed by this. The protests were annoying me, this just dissapoints me. Were being given a bad name by these mindless fucking idiots. Such a shame
