I think Petrov will keep it as club captain, but he won't play as much, so someone else will also share the duties - bit like Robson and Fistface in 92/93.  I'll go for Collins or a new signing as the 'deputy captain'.

 Seriously it does show we lack leaders at the club. Really thought when Dunne came to the club he would be our future captain, especially after the 1st season. Ive voted for Other/New signing although can a new signing realistically expect to be the captain of a new club?

Clark should IMO start the season as first choice centre half and also be given the captaincy.The kid is a natural leader and his age isn't an issue to me both Bobby moore and Tony Adams led their clubs at younger ages and it didn't faze them

There isn't an outstanding candidate. Petrov isn't good enough to play every game,maybe Collins if he can get some consistancey back,then again having the arm band could effect his form,so fcuk knows.

He's our longest serving player and certainly talks the talk in terms of loyalty. Personally I'd like to see him and Bent together up front next year (unless we sign someone better in summer)
