Gotta love the new Sky Go app - watching it at my desk on my iPad ! Impressive streaming for a 3G connection...

Formica getting a glaincing header in the box, not powerful enough for Given to dive for it

Two mins until halftime. The game's gone off the boil a bit the last few minutes. I can't see the second half being as high tempo as the first!

Not too sure, think both sides will look very different in the second half.

1 min extra time.

Like that matters here.

Was that Herd #31 warming up with Fabian and Marc then?

He looks completely different, new haircut and a sleeve.

It's like a new signing

HT 0-0

Gabby losing the ball running in the box doing a check-back, HT.

Not a bad half, I like the way we are setting ourselves up.

Some good stuff for the first 35 minutes then heat started to tell.  Encouraging signs with the style of football though.

Encouraging. Tired a bit in the last 5 minutes that's no surprise given conditions and it being pre season but they've all had decent games.

Bannan's been quite impressive, too. I'd say he's ready to play a fair role in the coming season.

Hopefully the youngsters will run them ragged in the 2nd half. But so far pretty tidy.
Very organised and slick. More sharpness will come with games and then we'll see more incisive stuff.

Sweat's pouring off the lads. Wholesale changes at HT, perhaps. Save legs.

Been said before, but N'Zonzi looks decent in Blackburn's midfield.

Doesn't look like a team heading for relegation, do they?

They look united, they can pass and move well, everybody knows their role. Defending is still a bit suspect and maybe a DM is needed but overall look decent.
