The general implied its not a case of the fans liking the new man , if randy chooses mcleish for christ sake back him and get behind aston villa- we are in this together and dont want to be percieved as a laughing stock by fans complaining.

remember derby fans protested when mackay followed clough and yet mackay won them the league.

please give alex mcleish a chance!

Erm, no.

If this nightmare scenario came to pass I would still support the Villa. I've renewed and whoever the manager is I will be in my seat next season. I sure as fuck wouldn't be asking 'Big Feck' to give me a wave though.

Please could the less savoury Noses start issuing death threats to McCleish if he goes anywhere near Villa Park and run him out of town.  If they do that, I'll concede that the city is theirs.  Well for 24 hours anyway.

I think they already have. One just texted me saying he must have a death wish! They are not pleased.

At all.

The General said that it would be the right man regardless of their name, which counts Mcleish out straight away

I'd prefer to cut my own balls off than watch a Villa team managed by McLeish, at the end of the day if Lerner and Faulkner think that going from MON to McLeish via Houllier is acceptable they are very fucking wrong.
Don't panic mons, it just ain't gonna happen!

Nod off for a few hours and this happens. I can't see us touching him, nor Everton for that matter. Bottom line is that he's just managed a team to relegation. Not great on your CV is it, despite the cup win. Not a chance of us talking to him.

I suspect that he's resigned to throw his hat in the ring.
Has somebody whispered in his ear, suggesting it's worth going for?

Also, why should the Dogshitters be upset at him leaving?
He's been a fucking disaster for them.
