-McLeish is on holiday
-Randy flies to Corisica on his private jet
-A couple of days later McLeish resigns by E-Mail

It can only mean one thing. This is no fucking coincidence, Randy obviously knew McLeish was going on the verge of walking out on small heath and set something up by flying to where McLeish is on holiday.

Look, we don't know for sure where Mcleish is, or if he's been anywhere near Corsica. You're panicking about nothing. Randy Lerner wants to protect his investment and hobby. How appointing the third shittest manager in the league and alienating his customer base into the bargain furthers his aim, I'd be at a loss to explain.

Give the guy some credit. Please.

Exactly, it's not true.  It can't be.

I think the email resignation thing was mentioned because Peter Pannou is in Amsterdam, so that's how he received the news.

The club may have carelessly omitted a very pertinent word from their 'new era' marketing slogan:

Proud History, Bright Ginger Future.

Proud History (before we arrived), Bright Future 3 Years Of Finishing 6th, Before Balancing The Budget And Not Really Being Arsed Anymore

Not sure that'll fit on the badge though
i can not believe they could do this, there is no spin that you could put on this, RL must know that season ticket sales would take a dive

Been watching Villa since 1970, if that twat arrives at the club, I wont set foot iat Villa Park until he has departed. Have faith in Randy and dont think he will be so niave to make this appointment. Its not as if he is even a good manager

I don't know what everyone's getting worked up about, no one knows if Randy or Paul was on the Jet when it went to Corsica, it could have been flying Houllier home, Houllier and McCliesh are good friends from what I've read and maybe invited him over for a few weeks.

I did just post something a page or so back that someone said he's in Greece.

And a few days ago Randy's plane was on it's way to Madrid and he was talking to someone there, then he was back in America, now he's been to Corsica to meet Mcleish. Where next, Norway to meet Egil Olsen?

Thanks. It's Gerard as  in Gerard Houllier.
I'm not the only Ger on here.

Chelsea fan hearing it too, can't check his tweets as they're hidden, but someone following him Retweeted that.

Jeez, it's all over twitter that he will quit tomorrow.

I don't believe anything i hear from twitter, but in this case.

Sounds credible. Not sure why you'd fly out to Corsica to see a British manager. I think he'd come in to uk wouldn't he, ESP if we're nit rushing to make an appt
