I do not buy into this. Bolton started well but were horrendous for the final 6 months of the season. If they hadn't signed Sturridge they may well have found themselves in a relegation dog fight.
Might say the same about us and Bent.
What has that got to do with anything? He was referencing Owen Coyle as a candidate to be our manager and I used that as an example to show that despite his early season hype, Bolton has been pretty shocking for a while now. It has no reference to anything!

I just think that Coyle has managed to change the way Bolton play without all the problems and fallings out we have had, he was a success at Burnley and surely the fact that he signed Sturridge on loan is a positive thing not a negative.

They also finished 5 places below us.

Calm down.  Merely an observation.

Well if it is Rafa I hope he does not fall the pre-match wind ups from Fergie, he never comes out on top.

It's Twitter. Do you have an account there? If so, add me (HVLegion) and he'll be on there.

Think rafa would be a good step. He's not the most attractive manager playing style-wise but he's ambitious and the likes of Ireland, Warnock, Dunne etc may not get the chance to shape up before they're shipped out. if we can't get moyes or ancellotti he's my 3rd choice

The point I'd like to make is that although Rafa is a good manager, would he be the right fit for Villa?

Well I presume the same criteria from Randy will be required now just as much as when MON walked. I'm guessing Randy will want a manager who can keep up the development of the youth system as well as being a shrewd as possible in the transfer market, both in buying and sales. So it is up to each candidate to sell themselves and convince Randy and his team they are right for Villa.

Depends if the villa attack-dogs leave him alone.  No doubt if he arrives he won't be accepted by some until he denounces any fondness for Liverpool and sacrifices his first born on the pitch before the first home game.
