Has anyone else noticed our goalie kit has a turtle neck?

Yes, I still have my Navy AST away shirt.
That keeper shirt, even with red safari bits, is better than last years eyesore. Which probably gave Timmy Mallet a stroke.

We should have NOTHING blue!
FFS there's plenty of other options!

Please not white socks! PLEASE!

How much do Nike design the shirt, and how much imput does someone at the club have? And who, exactly?
This could lead to us having to form a committee....!!!

Nike goalkeeper kits are all the same design. Us, Arse & Utd all have the exact same keeper shirt but in different colours. Such a lazy company.

I just started a thread about the goalie kit, hadn't spotted this thread (mods - feel free to delete my other thread !)

A royal blue shirt with a Villa badge on just looks wrong, hope the goalie shorts aren't white !

Nike design our shirts by looking at old Lens FC shirts and thinking that will do for those cocks in Aston.

Getting a home shirt before August would be a bonus

After all the fuss over where we got our new manager from, for the club to then proudly display his first signing in a royal blue shirt really is beyond taking the piss.
It makes you wonder if anyone with half a brain is still working in our marketing or public relations department.
You'd think that somewhere along the line someone would have said "hang on a minute, maybe this isn't a good idea".

I don't really care what colour the goalie top is, but I agree completely.

It's just ridiculously easy to avoid cock-ups like this, yet we seem to make them at every possible opportunity. Whoever is in charge is either terrible at their job, stupid, or both.

Is the light grey on the away kit really as grey as it looks in the photos?

My son has just bought the away shirt from Chav Magnet. He came home wearing it and it swamped him. When we looked at the shirt it was tagged as 'Age 10/11 but was actually an 'Age 12/13' shirt!

We took it back and got him the correct size (10/11) and that shirt was tagged as 'Age 9/10' ffs! In fact, every shirt we looked at had the wrong size on the tags. The staff said they had arrived like that from the manufacturer.

Be interesting to see if Nike (or whoever tagged them) have been as careless with the Man Ure or Arse shirts...

Doe the colour of the goalkeeper shirt really matter????

It shows what a small minded bickering set of fickle fans our lot have become when they can bemoan something as petty as this.

Agreed. It's a goalkeeper shirt. I couldn't care less what colour it is. The home shirt is claret and blue, and that's all that matters.
