Based on this poll, ST sales will be at least 20% ish down regardless
That has to be a concern for RL / PF

If they base their business model on a few internet malcontents rather than the vast majority of fans who don't whinge on forums and will no doubt renew and continue their support of Aston Villa then good luck to them.
If we go down then obviously sales will be hit, that would go for most clubs, but if we survive I doubt we'll lose more than 5% or so even if Hotlips is still the manager.

I am truly sorry to say that I shall not be renewing my season ticket. It's nothing to do with any dissatisfaction with the Club or the manager or anything other than infirmity of age. I felt lousy on Sunday and I can't face a whole season like that. I'll probably just buy the occasional ticket for old times sake.

I'll still be a Villa supporter though.

Sadly, past history shows us that they do avidly listen to the tiny majority on the Internet.

I think if we get relegated our crowds would average somwhere around the 30,000 mark, maybe slightly higher if one or two of our local rivals joins us in the Championship.

Thre's more chance of my renewing if we go down, in a My Club Needs Me-type way.

I will renew regardless of who is the Manager is, the players we have or league we are in.

I'm gonna renew providing I can afford it (which I will be able to).

I'd definitely renew if we went down, but I'd probably not go to every game as I wouldn't be able to afford the extra train fair for each game.

VCTM jnr will be playing on Saturdays - watching son or Villa? What do you think?

His mom can take him !!

Only joking - tickets only for me when we can make it down or away days.

Said I wasn't going to renew this season, but did. I'm probably going to have to wait for the fixtures to come out for next season before deciding this time, as I have to work every other weekend and can't afford to use up all my ad hoc holiday time for games, or I need to rely on shift swaps with other people. I usually miss three or four homes a season including cups due to work and holidays and would feel extremely disloyal if I was sat at home watching Sky Soccer Saturday / Special waiting for updates on our games.
Having said that though, my main reason for renewing is to keep my access for away tickets. I've worked out that I could see us at seven new grounds if we get relegated!

Out of curiosity, i just looked as well, and worked out i'd be seeing us at 8 new grounds. The fact that one of them would be Millwall has convinced me even more than we should sack GH.

Whatever happens I would find it hard not to renew but one thing would make me sever my connection of 57 years - the appointment of Sam Allardyce as manager.

Would probably buy in any division if I can afford it.

If someone horrible like Allardyce became our manager, it would be hard to stomach though.

At least there'd be more games for your money and some new grounds to go to - Millwall, Doncaster, Leeds, Leicester.

On second thoughts....

I've counted Brighton and Huddersfield or Bournemouth in my seven. Cardiff and Swansea if they don't go up won't be a picnic either.

I feel a bit brassed off with football as a whole and have done for a year or so. Therefore, it's not current form that's making me think is it worth £500. I'm sure I will as I have since 97 but can't say it's been enjoyable. Just seems pointless, we buy players, try to get better, flirt with success but ultimately fail then lose our best players and the cycle starts again. Seen it too many times to be optimistic about the future.
