We were in the club shop yesterday & one of the floor assistants was egging my 7 year old to pick a home shirt.  I went all frugal Victorian dad & suggested he waits for the summer for at least the same shirt without FXPro scrawlled across the front, at which point the assitant went into sales overdrive.

She bloody didn't, that's for sure.  New school lunchbox & a window sticker only...

There were still adults buying shirts & having names on the back which at this stage of the season ludicrous.  Pissing money up the wall.

It's the same as the ex-player shirts.  Would you pay GBP40 for an Osbourne or Salifou 'worn' shirt?  They've even got worn boots now.
