Let's rest Young and Downing - great idea.  Probably better not to admit you got in totally fucking wrong and bring them on when the match is totally gone.....

There have been several players who have had a mare, but nobody more than Houllier.  Let's see if he takes this firmly on his chin.  Dreadful surrender much worse than Moscow.

I wouldn't bother making a change just yet, as soon as we're safe I'd send him on his way and try and prepare for next season.

I wonder what the reactions would be like on here if this game suddenly turned around?

You are a massive optimist I'll give you that.

Houllier should have gone at Christmas.

Agreed.

You just want to get rid of any manager Villa have.

Just when GH looked liked he knew what he was doing, just when we had some momentum, just when moral was creeping up....arghhhh
I'm all for playing the kids and reserves but pick the games carefully...Man City away, quarter final vs Reading waiting...really?

We just can't pass properly, we miss simple 5 yard passes!

This is on a par with his behaviour at Liverpool- I have backed GED but I really don't see where we are going here- the lack of ambition quite frankly stinks , utterly disgusting team selection and I'm not sure he will get the benefit of doubt some fans have given him- I really have rarely felt so low about things as I do now- dreadful dreadful night.
