I don't know if I am allowed to say this but Arsenal play quite good football!

They do, and it's too good for SHA.

3-0 to the Arse.

I have a very, very terrible feeling about this game. They've had all the jammy luck this season.

Look, this shower of shite couldn't even beat an opposition team whose goal keeper had a broken neck the last time they played at Wembley.

Not only that, but there are other pointers why the unthinkable will not happen....

1. Arsenal are desperate for silverware, chalking this one up will take some pressure off them.
2. Arsenal are very good at football.
3. Blues are shite
4. Arsenal have already spanked them this season
5. Arsenal are experienced in playing Finals at Wembley
6. Blues have no recent experience of Wembley, no recent experience of playing in a major final and will be a wobbling, shaking, choking mess before they start their shite brand of football.

I'm thinking a League Cup final record score will be witnessed.

I know, Bren, I know, but it's a 'funny' old game isn't it?

I look forward to reading the Monday morning headlines in the papers..

'Blues suffer Arse spanking' would be my choice.

I shall be having the usual kind of Sunday afternoon.

The fact Small Heath are at Wembley has zero impact on me. I hope they lose, but beyond that, meh.

1.  So are Blues
2.  Leyton Orient?
3.  True, but they have had some good results against big teams already this year.
4.  Irrelevant, Man City spanked us 4-0 and then we beat them in the return game.
5.  No they aren't, in fact the last time Arsenal were in a Wembley final was in 1998, 13 years ago.
6.  See above.

Also, it is a cup final, anything can happen.  I do hope you are right though!

I'll be watching. I'd usually watch the League Cup final.

Might bet on Blues to win as insurance.

Apparently it's 'anybodys game' against Man City when we play them, so surely the Dog Shit have a good chance too?

Be interesting to see who Wenger rests for this.

I shall be attending Real Mallorca vs Barcelona here in Palma.  It looks set to be a cracker and I can't wait!!  I believe it kicks off at the same time as the cup final so I wouldn't be able to watch it even if I wanted to.

I like what OP is doing - media blackout... tried it once and when you find out the result it's going to be either an incredibly happy moment where you'll party like it's 1999, or under the most unthinkable, unfortunate circustances you'll feel like jumping off the top of a tall building.

I'm still undecided what I'll be doing. Might go for a nice drive into the country and go and have a pub lunch in an old fashioned pub where there are no televisions - no distractions for me. Will check the score at half-time on my phone. If I have the nerve to find out Arsenal have already got a couple of goals, I'll be whizzing off straight back into Brum, where me and a mate will just completely troll the shit out of Small Heath fans in a pub. We'll do it in a really petty, wummy way though. If Arsenal are cruising Harborne High Street will be a right laugh.

Like Man City against us Arsenal are clear favourites but in a one off game there is always the possibility of an upset. The Noses have a chance of course but I can't see Wenger fucking this up. I think they'll play a strong side, he needs a trophy and this is currently his best chance of one.

We're better than blues.

Man City are worse than Arsenal

What will I be doing on Sunday?

Watching and recalling, with some sadness, that 12 months ago that was us.

Tin hat on I want Blues to win. I don't live in Birmingham so I won't have the stick most of you get, but most of my friends are gooners and had great pleasure in telling me what a Mickey mouse Cup it was last year, only teams like Villa take it serious, Arsenal play their youth and only want Chumps/Prem League, other cups not worthy for the mighty Arse blah blah blah. So I say come on Blues, Barca , Man Utd, and Orient.
