Was it something to do with a name change of the club and being registered for that seasons competition in a different name ? I do know they were first elected to the football league in 1908.Presently known as Bradford Park Avenue AFC, they were also known as Bradford FC and Bradford(Park Avenue)...the only club ever in the football league to have brackets in their name.
They fielded a weakened team!!?
