armitstead and pooley stand a decent chance in the womens tt as far as I'm aware.

wiggo and froome in the mens.

Can't think of anything else today where we have a really good chance.

mens 8 in the rowing are decent but they've not clicked as a team yet, if that happens in the final we should get a medal.

Good bronze, shame they couldn't hold off the canadians for silver.

THATS ONE !

It's a bit embarrassing thath the women only need two rowers, but the men need eight.

Pooley through the first check in 1st (not sure who else is to come though), armitstead 5th I think, russian girl in 2nd is up off her seat and going like the clappers, can't imagine she'll keep that up.

What do you mean "with everyone through", doesn't that mean it's finished?

Finished but looks well out of the medals unfortunately, seems the course was too flat for her... ?

Good. I don't think the uk had any influence on the decision but I'd hate this Olympics to be historically remembered as the one where the Olympic spirit died.

yeah great decision to ban them, it was just too obvious what was going on, the credibility of the sport would've been shot if they'd been allowed to compete and it'd have left a shadow over the games.

The Japanese women's football coach said she wanted her team to draw, rather than win, so they would stay in Cardiff for their knockout game. Should they now be disqualified too?

A cycling event is going on, no idea what as it's on in the background but noticed one bloke broke his chain as soon as he started. Must be a time trial as Wiggins has just started as i'm typing. So really sucks for the bloke who bost his bike on the start ramp.
