Skysports.com understands that Nigel Reo-Coker has agreed terms with Bolton ahead of a likely switch to the Reebok Stadium. The midfielder has attracted widespread interest since being released by Aston Villa earlier in the summer.

No he hasn't which is exactly why he's at Bolton. A good solid player that needs to fire his cock of an agent as soon as possible.

Newsflash: SKY really do talk bollocks a lot of the time

NRC has now found his true level (Bolton) and probably his true wage level £30k per wk. What happened to Napoli, Juventus etc what a joke of a so called agent .........

I bet he is regretting the decision not to sign the contract offer from Villa.

NRC never let us down , but Parker is such a step up its incredible.

I like Delf, but for me he is part of a 2 up front.

I would like next season a midfield of

                                     Parker

        Makoun....................................Delph/Ireland

Gabby/Albrighton/delf.................................N'Zog
                             Bent/Gabby/Delf.

Just need to sort the defence out then.Would'nt be surprised if we get Danns either now or in Jan.

The Fonz has greater skill and pace than Albrighton but doesnt come close when it comes to crossing. I would say most of Downings goals last season were put on a plate for him by Albrighton. I wasnt particularly impressed with Albrighton at Walsall, but he is needed out wide and the Fonz will get more than his fair share of chances as back up for Bent and Gabby.

That's true, but Albrighton has really struggled of late to get past his man
Completely agree and thats why I mentioned his performance against Walsall...if he cant get past the Walsall LB, what chance in the Premier League next season? It seems defenders already know that all they have to do is stand off him a couple of yards, and he only seems effective if running at them at pace as he doesnt seem to have any tricks up his sleeve other than "knock'n'run". Downing also struggled with this so if he can create a yard of space to deliver a better ball into the box then may he wont need to beat his man without the help of a quick 1-2.

Just a pity then that he doesn't play for us.

I'm perfectly optimistic.

And my optimism isn't dependent on whether or not Scott Parker signs for us.

We've been heavily linked with Parker. don't see what the problem is with anticipating/hopeing we sign him. Its not as if i'm not aware that he does'nt play for us .

I'm not convinced we'd go for Parker. He's 31 soon, on a long and lucrative contract at West Ham so will cost premium money with no realistic chance of getting any money back on him. Will the board go for that after all the dead money from MON signings that fell into a similar category?

If we could get rid of Beye and Heskey ( massive If ) . we probably would have gone in for Parker .

The longer it goes without Sperms moving for Parker the more likely I feel we are to sign him.

I thought we aren't signing anyone else?

It could have been a bluff, it could have been meant until the season starts or it could have meant we won't sign anyone else after N'Zogbia. I'm not prepared to rule anything out yet.

That said I'm willing to believe we won't sign anyone else if it means this thread will get locked and we will all have some respite from the bullshit rumours in the media.

I hope it was a bluff.
