Probably about a million then if we sell him for £15m and they are on 20% of any profit? I bet Watford are wishing we had cashed in on ash last year.

We will get about 16 million in the end I reckon, or Walker and a few million from Spurs. In truth I trust GED to get us a more effective man that Ash to play that role, and certainly a more consistent one.

I'm sorry but £15 million for Ash and Ciaran is laughable.

Who has suggested £15m for ash and ciaran? Ciaran Clark? I've not heard or read any mention of such a thing?

It's just a part of an article in The Sun. It says Man Utd have already set aside £15 million for double swoop for Young and Clark.

Ciaran Clark will be a huge part of our future- he would be worth more than that on his own- united have no chance of getting him.

Have just seen on www.twitter.com/soccer_daily that it is being reported that a deal in the region of £25m has been agredd in principle for Jack Rodwell. Dodgy source I know but if that is true can't see that they will spend another £15m on Young as well.

Ferguson still hasn't spent much of the Ronaldo money has he, I cant see £15m being too much of a problem. I think he'll struggle there unless he ups his game, also not sure how he'll react to being a very small fish in a very big pond.

It's the fact they seem to think that Clark is included in that £15 million that is ridiculous.

I think utd can afford to spend £15m on young and get rodwell too- they might offload a couple of players too, welbeck is wanted by sunderland.

I like Cudicini, but i think he's too far the wrong side of 30 now. Given or Robinson would be my choices.

Given would still have another 4 yrs at the top , providing he passes the tests on his shoulder.

Can we go for players on the up, or at the top of their game? Given at 35 with a dodgy shoulder is not a good choice. What about McGregor at Rangers?
