Not many plodders there. :)
Whilst highly unlikely if we got those targets we could have a front 4 (if you like) of N'zogbia, Canales and Bent with Diego pulling the strings in front of two box to box midfielders with Albrighton and Gabby as options from the bench. An enticing thought but, yes, unlikely.

Nzogbia as a replacement for Ashley sounds good to me. Younger, cheaper and I dare say better!

Yes yes and no but 2 out of 3 ain't bad!

In fact I'm not sure he is younger? What age are they both?

Ash is 26 and I think Charles is 25. He does seem to have been around for ages though!

N'Zogbia scored 10 goals last season, to Ashley's 9.

Should be capable of few more than that with us.

If we sign Canales, and he plays as good as he did 2 years ago, then he will be the best player we have had down VP in the last 20 years....he could be that good. And exactly the kind of player we should be looking at.

Plays just off a front man, great technique, great ability, probably can't play in the same team as Ronaldo/Kaka/Ozil, hence not being used by RM.

Would'nt mind Given, but not on £85k per week.

N'Zogbia at £10m would be a great buy tbh.

Au contraire, that's exactly what I should be doing. But unfotunately not.

N'Zogbia wasn't penalty taker either.

I like how direct he is compared to Ash, I actually think he would be better for us than Ash last season, despite Ash being the better player

Given reported to be ready to take a huge drop in wages to around £65000 a week, wigan have put a £9M tag on nzogbia which is more than reasonable in this climate. Both would be excellent captures and give us a lift.

You're right.
Ashley is the better player all round, but I think N'Zogbia has a better eye for goal.

15 goals for us shouldn't be beyond him.

If we, or any other team for that matter, pays Shay Given 65k a week then the world has gone insane and I will end my life as there's no point living.

Do not understand £65k he has not played for a year ? He should get a payment off City and be paid £40k with add ons according to his possible injury disposition .......

Just hope we can quickly push through the Nzogbia deal before the likes of Newcastle and Sunderland start showing serious interest. He might like the ambition that Sunderland are showing with all their shiny new players or Newcastle's French revolution. Get it done A-Mac.
