Drenthe possibly on loan to Everton. Could've done us a turn.

WE are still light in midfield even if we get Jenas, who I think will end up being a really important player for us. Still praying for an Adam Johnson on loan, or even a bit of an unknown like Lewis McGuigan.

Can't say that Jenas was the first name I thought of this summer in all honesty.

But wasn't Jose interested in signing him two years ago at Inter? Maybe he (and Big Eck) see something in him I don't.

Hutton won't sell anymore season tickets either, I'd gave thought. But after struggling to break into the Tottingham team for a while, he was their first choice right back for a large chunk of last season -ahead of Walker. In their debut season in the CL, no less.

Not really the type of player we can turn our noses at truth be told -particularly now.

Does anyone know when was the last time Jenas played for Spurs, in any capacity? Does he even feature on their bench. On No! I feel another Oyvind Leonhardson moment.

Just read that City turned down loan moves from three clubs in Spain and Chelsea.

Someone who can pass the ball better, better technical ability under pressure, as opposed to aimlessly and anonymously running around. That boy Makoun at Olympiakos looks quite nifty.

Jenas hasn't done a job for anyone else, why on earth at the arse end of his career is he going to change into a worthwhile footballer?

Jenas was the only player of the Tottenham squad to hit the bar in the Sky Soccer AM crossbar challenge in May 2009.

now I know why we have signed him .....

You do realise that there is a large group of footballers in the ability divide between Jenas and Iniesta, right?
