So Spurs taking Parker and Adebayor. The former is a good signing. Adebayor is a gamble, but a good player if they get him firing. He will play with Van Der Vaart behind though, and I reckon Pavlychenko and Crouch will be after a move now.

Crouch, will probably end up at Stoke and Pavlyuchenko may stay for 1 more year I reckon as they will need players for their Euro campaign.  I wouldn't take either tbh.

Arsenal's opening bid for Cahill is £6m (year left on his deal).

We get 15% of anything over £5m don't we? Hopefully he goes for a fair bit more than that!

I still think we have one or maybe two more players in our sights. Possibly waiting for any type of bids for Beye - Ireland = Not looking good ...........

Possible bid for Scott Parker if we can sell 2 fringe players. Seen as Parker would probably freeze Ireland out anyway, why not just a straight swap Ireland for Parker?

You can forget Parker, this is from Lee Clayton on Twitter

Quote
Update on Parker to #spurs as promised. Cash deal + add ons + 1 or 2 loans to #westham (still to be agreed). Completed early next week

Ah twitter.  The last word in utter bullshit, attention seeking speculation.

He is one of the chief sports writers on the Daily Mail, not some spotty herbert stirring it up on Twitter. Still I suppose anything that's said on Twitter can be scoffed at as bollocks.

The Guardian is reporting that Darron Gibson's proposed departure from Manure is "in doubt after the midfielder damaged ankle ligaments in training, an injury that could sideline him for at least four weeks".

What's that?  Sure I heard a sigh of relief, but can't tell for all the champagne corks and party poppers going off... ;D

Yes, it will truly shred Paul Jewell's already tattered reputation when the human Dyson Vacuum pitches up at Ipswich and goes missing for large stretches of the campaign.  Still, at least he's a 'bit of a laugh,' eh?

And trouble Leeds on Saturday? I expect he will.  If you mean the city centre. At night.

I'm gutted we've missed out on a soon to be 33 year old injury prone player.

Still, shred business by Jewell to beat off the host of top flight clubs, nay, top European clubs who were battling for his signature.

Hei i do not understand all the hate on bullard
also id prefer if some people were a little more accomodating
and could accept others views rather than be abusive or question who i am
i m always interseted in reading others people and hearing views and respect them be nice if people could be respectful in comments.
I am aware that people aren't such fans of bullard but the way its commuicated isnt so cool. Think on.

Fair enough Brice.  But Tokyo's right, your limerick was dreadful.  To make amends I've written one to appease you.  Ahem:

Poor Gibson has knackered his leg
It's a shame, cos he seems a good egg
And now Bullard has signed
For East Anglian kind
I couldn't be bothered to finish it.  Sorry.

Brice Jovial is a lovely man
Gibson and Bullard? he's clearly a fan

I've got a good idea
Just you keep him near.
He'll be so good for...

Brice'll be so good for you!
He's gonna help ya!
Filling transfer threads with poo
The Lord Paul McGra-ath....who-oo-oo?
He hasn't got a clue

brice jovials posts remind me of those Wall's talking dog adverts. Simply replace the words with the text from one of his posts and it all makes sense! :D

Once upon a time there was a man named Brice
Some of his transfer suggestions made you think twice
About whether he was clinically insane
Or some windup laughing like a drain
Whilst the transfer market was on ice
