All over now 4 - 1.

Came good after a rocky start.

You sure? OS says 3-1?

Carruthers ran the show apparently. Good work snatching him from Arsenal.

Good stuff.  KevMac keeps on doing it!

Isn't it Tony McAndrew that looks after the U18's?

It is indeed.

Went along last night and certainly was 3-1 with Danny Johnson scoring in normal time and then Graham Burke and Samir Carruthers getting the goals in extra time.  The lads rode their luck a fair bit during the 90 minutes, but looked a lot fitter than their Peterborough counterparts and could have run away with it during extra time.

As has been mentioned Carruthers had another fantastic game and looks a far better player when he is played centrally.  Never could understand why he had spent most of the under 18s season stuck out wide on the left.  Dan Devine and Derrick Williams were superb at the back as well.  Roll on Elland Road.

Good update Rambo, is Young Carruthers related to Martin Carruthers?

I do like the look of Williams and Carruthers. And the young Irish forwards have something about them. Especially Drennan (from my old lady's hometown, Kilkenny).

Barton could actually be the fastest player I have ever seen too. Faster than Gabby maybe.
He's greased lightning, the boy.

They were a great technical side years ago, but had an awful kit. I remember the local reporter, one W. Shakespeare saying:
 "But I have that within which passeth show;
These but the trappings and the suits of woe."

Didn't they used to play in pink?
