Morning all - just about 4am here in Sydney and I'm that tired my eyes are stinging. We best fucking win.

Midfield looks a bit too light weight for me - especially up against Yaya Toure and De Jong.

I'll also do the usual and ask if anyone got a link to a decent stream of the match.

hmmm...suddenly not looking forward to this. No Walker and Midfield to be held together by Petrov....can't help but think they will absolutely slaughter us in midfield...

Espn say walker has back problem- very attacking line up, I'd have had nige in rather than gabby though as we could be exposed in midfield.

Should be a very open game.

This game will depend on how much we can get on the ball.  Think NRC for Gabby might have been a better option with downing out wide (if my guess at where people are going to play is right!)

Bench for NRC.

Throw in a couple of tracksuits and you've got yourself a deal.

That is a very er... bold line-up.

Petrov is going to have to have the game of his life against De Jong and Barry.

Don't like the look of that set up in the centre of the park at all.

Fingers and crossed we score first (and then get another soon after) to gain any sort of momentum. Even then, we might be doing well to draw.

I guess we're looking to keep it down the flanks and get it into the box. Hopefully Bent can do the rest.

On a day like today, when results have gone our way, some points would be nice. I don't think we'll get any, but hope the goal difference doesn't take too much of a pounding.

I have felt great right up to the point where I saw the only difference from previous weeks is the inclusion of Bent D on the teamsheet

A win will take us above SHA and that is it. A draw leaves us where we are now. it could be worse though: if we lose by 4 goals Wigan go above us.

Similar personnel to what we were discussing this morning dave ,in a 433 if albrighton and young wide, bent in middle and a midfield of downing petrov and makoun- of course that's the change , makoun in for gabby after today and we have ourselves a fluid attacking team.

Surprised nige or hogg not ahead of gabby though if he's going 443 today , maybe he's going 442 on this occasion.

Blimey that is a positive line up, come on then show your worth Villa. We need to put to bed the last game against this lot.
Results have gone fairly well for us today.
