I met Earl just after he signed, at Rosies in Solihull, he was with Yorke who knew one of the girls we were with.

It was my 21st Birthday, we'd had a meal at the Barn on Hockley Heath and I was subject to a Birthday treat in the form of a "Roly Poly" kiss-o-gram.

I was in a museum in Tarragona this lunchtime when I saw a local teenager wearing the current Villa shirt. Had a little chat with him, turns out he was (not surprisingly in Tarragona) a Barcelona fan, and had chosen the Villa shirt because he just loved it (rather than through any particular affinity with the club).
