I bumped into a bloke wearing a pair of Villa shorts in Greenwich on Saturday morning while I was walking my dog (who was wearing his Villa collar and lead). We stopped and had a brief chat. He lives in the Isle of Dogs ( the Villa fan, not my hound), hardly the other side of the world but always nice to meet another Villan miles away from Villa Park. Wasn't anyone on here was it?

Last weekend the Latin Lions gathered at a vineyard in the village of Cison di Valmarino in the province of Treviso. Stefano, the chairman (and Archie on H&V), is top left. In the centre at the back is Rob Bishop, co-author of "The Complete Record" and until last year the editor of the matchday programme.
